
Mr. Hanley has more than 30 years of experience in driving innovation in the energy, utility, and infrastructure sectors through enhanced hardware and software development delivering effective asset management, resource efficiency and network connectivity. He has led multidisciplined teams and facilitated financing for more than $1 billion in major utility and infrastructure programs.
Jack is a leading authority in the Smart City space. He currently serves as COO of Connected Cities Integrators (CCI), a design-build-finance solutions firm. His focus has been the market development of economically sound technology, and infrastructure solutions designed using each community’s unique data to improve public safety, operational efficiencies and overall quality of life.
Prior to joining CCI, Jack was Vice President of the Americas for Telensa Ltd., the global leader in connected streetlighting and smart city applications where he worked with major utility companies and municipalities in developing and deploying successful “smart city” technology programs. In his work with the Southern Company he had direct oversight and account management responsibility for the world’s largest network public lighting control system at Georgia Power with more than 300,000 connected devices under control. Jack was also Director of Roadway Lighting/Smart City Solutions with PowerSecure, a leading utility support services company in North America. Prior to PowerSecure, Mr. Hanley also spent 8 years with NORESCO, the energy services subsidiary of United Technologies, and provided National leadership to public sector clients.
